It is essential to keep in mind that this crib will not last as long after your baby turns six months old. You will have to buy a bigger cot. But, in general Roanna felt that the Joie Roomie Glide was a excellent purchase and she especially liked its sleek design.
John Lewis sells the Roomie Glide for PS160. Roanna thought this was a fair price for such a cot. She also liked the way it looked in the bedroom, and believed that the grey shade would suit most modern homes. However, she pointed out that it isn't a great idea to rock a young baby as it could set an unhealthy habit that can affect later sleep patterns.

It has a drop-side rail that can be easily lowered to feed your baby at night without having to disturb your little one or get up It's perfect for breastfeeding mothers! It's also light and easy to move around during naps or for travel.

It can also be transformed into a sofa bed by the addition of an extension pack. While it will not feed your baby or magically make them sleep it will gently rock them until they go off!

This is one of Chicco's more expensive models, but it has a wide array of features. It can be used either a side-sleeper or a standalone crib and is suitable for infants from birth to six months. It comes with a new mechanism to open and close the side panel. It's simple to use, even for one-handed operation. It's also more flexible than its predecessor, having 11 different height levels as well as retractable feet for a secure installation under any bed.
Our testers loved the ease of access offered by the side panel that can be moved up and downwards with just a single push of a button. This was particularly useful during nighttime feedings as they could reach inside and pick up their baby without waking them.
It is possible to lower the side panel by itself but this is not advised, because it increases the chance that your baby will fall out of the cot. The safety locking system makes sure that the side panel will stay down if it is connected correctly to the mattress of the parent. This feature is fantastic to have peace of mind when you breastfeed and require frequent feedings at night.
Telescopic legs permit the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, including divan bases and beds with drawers. It also comes with tilting functions for babies with reflux and a rocking mode to soothe them back to sleep after feeding. The kit for conversion to cot (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear instructions and everything you require to start. It took us around an hour to assemble, and was relatively simple. The only downside to the instructions was that some images were not captioned. This made it difficult for us to follow. Overall, the process was easy and the materials used were of high quality.
